I make four cheeseburger quesadillas at one time if I want a quick dinner and sauce for the quesadillas if I plan ahead and make the quesadillas just before dinner․ Ingredients in a cheeseburger quesadilla include chopped onions and pickles with shredded cheddar cheese melted on a tortilla․ I always add pickles‚ which are my favorite ingredient․

I add cheese to both sides of the meat mixture․ It helps the tortilla hold together while cooking․ Cheese also keeps the onions and pickles from leaking out after cooking․ I suggest using flour tortillas designed for burritos․ They give you enough room to stuff the burrito without making it too thick to fold or flip․
Brown the ground beef in a large pan․ Drain off the excess grease․ Add spices to the ground beef․ I chop the ground beef so that it will cover the tortilla halves evenly instead of having a mound of ground beef in one spot․ Chopping the beef also helps prevent the onion and pickle chips from escaping․
Cook quesadillas on a griddle or in a large skillet in batches․ Slice quesadillas into triangles while they're still warm․ I like to dip my quesadillas in cold burger sauce․ I like the combination of hot tortilla and cold sauce․ French fries and chocolate milkshakes would be good side dishes with quesadillas․
